On the 4th of August 2018 a team of ladies (Kitty den Boogert, Josje van der Linder) from RU Groninger Institute of Higher Education located in Amsterdam visited African Rural University. The visit was a result of sharing they had with the ARU Guild MS Anyinge Christine together with other 3 ARU students during the 2018 Summer School   that took place at Gulu University.

The purpose of their visit was to know more about ARU’s Philosophy, vision and mission. Among other unique features of ARU, they were impressed by the wealth of knowledge in the ARU Library and Community Resource Center (LCRC),arboretum ,  ARU anthem and also the conducive environment at ARU.

Ms. Eva Murora (Middle)-Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor taking the visitors through a campus tour

Were happy to see books written by Peace In the library we know her supervisor from back home in Amsterdam.  This university is practical since students come direct and get access to learn from the arboretum.
