African Rural University(ARU) hosts Professors Without Borders (PROWIBO).

ARU hosts a team from PROWIBO for the 2019 summer school on Monday 19th August 2019. The team is conducting a two weeks training course in social entrepreneur, design thinking and Ethics being facilitated by Akbar Saeed” an Associate Professor of Information Systems in the Business Technology Management program at Wilfrid Laurier University in Brantford.” and Rachel Warnick a specialist in short term intensive programs focused on communications, essentail business and academic skills. The participants involed include ARU students, staff and Epicenter managers. The objective of the workshop is to enhance staff and students in fostering the conditions that help empower people to transform their own communities. A combination of short lectures, group discussions and roll plays, are being used in delivery during the course
