Practicum is a one-month participatory fieldwork experience for third year students at African Rural University. During this period, students live, learn, and create conditions for rural communities to ensure mind-set change so as to create a strong and underlying structural relationship between African Rural University and local communities through demonstrating and understanding of the Visionary Approach to foster Rural Transformation. It also prepares students for a one-year internship as epicenter managers in the districts of Kagadi, Kibaale and Kakumiro.
