Prominent Lawyer Ssemambo Rashid to Grace ARU’s 10th Graduation as Chief Guest

African Rural University (ARU), a value-based all-women’s university is proud to announce that Rashid Ssemambo will be the Chief Guest for its 10th Graduation Ceremony on 22nd November 2024.
Mr. Ssemambo Rashid is an Advocate of all Courts of Judicature in Uganda, with 13 years of hands-on experience spanning a wide range of professional fields. His expertise includes private legal practice, socioeconomic transformation, strategic planning, international transactions, logistical management, administration, and team building.
Beyond his work in the legal sector, Mr. Ssemambo was elected President of the Uganda Muslim Lawyers Association (UMLAS) in October 2024.
Mr. Ssemambo is also a council member at Victoria University in Kampala, Uganda, where he contributes to educational leadership and the development of the next generation of professionals.
In his own words, “I stand for positive social transformation.”
