Broadcasting through Kagadi-Kibaale Community Radio (KKCR), which reaches over 5 million weekly listeners, our students produce dynamic shows covering topics like sustainable agriculture, rural development, gender equality, and health awareness. These programs amplify ARU's visionary approach by blending academic insights with grassroots perspectives, empowering communities to drive their own development.
The radio initiatives provide students with hands-on experience in media production, public speaking, and participatory communication. Through talk shows, interviews, and storytelling, they hone their skills while addressing critical rural challenges from climate-smart farming to girls' education. The programs also showcase success stories of ARU graduates (Epicenter Managers) transforming villages, inspiring listeners to adopt innovative solutions. KKCR’s interactive format allows real-time community feedback, fostering dialogue between students and rural audiences.
