Student’s Guild

The ARU Student Guild is the official student leadership body, representing the voices and interests of all students.

The Guild promotes student welfare, organizes social and academic events, and acts as a bridge between students and university management. Leadership training and mentorship are part of their journey, preparing them for real-world governance and development work.

The radio initiatives provide students with hands-on experience in media production, public speaking, and participatory communication. Through talk shows, interviews, and storytelling, they hone their skills while addressing critical rural challenges from climate-smart farming to girls' education. The programs also showcase success stories of ARU graduates (Epicenter Managers) transforming villages, inspiring listeners to adopt innovative solutions. KKCR’s interactive format allows real-time community feedback, fostering dialogue between students and rural audiences.

ARU-Student Radio Programmes

Aligned with ARU’s mission, these radio programs bridge theory and practice, extending classroom learning to the wider public.

Students collaborate with local leaders, NGOs, and experts to create impactful content, reinforcing ARU’s role as a hub for rural innovation. By giving voice to marginalized perspectives and promoting indigenous knowledge, the broadcasts embody the university’s commitment to awakening the "sleeping genius" in every community member.
